• Provide financial security to the unorganized sector workers in the event of an accident or disability.
• Promote the habit of savings among the unorganized sector workers.
• Provide social security to the unorganized sector workers and their families.

Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana Gujarat Benefits

• In case of accidental death, the nominee will receive a lump sum amount of Rs. 10 lakhs or Rs. 5 lakhs, depending on the plan chosen.
• In case of permanent disability, the insured person will receive a lump sum amount of Rs. 10 lakhs or Rs. 5 lakhs, depending on the plan chosen.
• In case of partial disability, the insured person will receive a monthly pension for life.
• The scheme also provides hospitalization benefits up to Rs. 2 lakhs in a year.

Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for ASSY, the following criteria must be met:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The applicant must be a member of the unorganized sector.

Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana Premiums

The annual premium for ASSY is Rs. 499 for a cover of Rs. 10 lakhs and Rs. 289 for a cover of Rs. 5 lakhs. The premium can be paid in a lump sum or in installments.
