Applying for Rooftop Solar via PM Surya Ghar Portal

To apply, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official site at https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/.
2. From the homepage, select “Apply for rooftop solar.”
3. On the new page, click “Register Here” and fill in the registration form with your State, District, Electricity Distribution Company, Consumer Number, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
4. Complete the registration by clicking the register button.
5. Log in using your Consumer Number & Mobile Number post-registration.
6. Fill the application form with all required details and wait for the DISCOM to approve feasibility.
7. Post-approval, you can install the plant through an approved vendor.
8. Apply for a net meter and submit plant details upon installation.
9. Following net meter installation and DISCOM inspection, a commissioning certificate will be issued.
10. Submit bank details and a cancelled cheque online to receive your subsidy in less than 30 days.
